Animals project
![]() The animal situation would require a program of artificial insemination; ideally, a few chickens per family would supply the eggs to improve protein nutritional input.
Moreover, a “one goat per family” would supply the milk for children’s more balanced diet (often new mothers cannot breast feed).
The main diet on the island consists of fish and (imported) rice. Imported eggs are expensive and are rejects of wealthier countries, hence low quality and with a whitish thin shell.
Project data
